For your convenience, we have therapy services that are performed onsite. All therapists are trained to meet the needs of the senior population. Our rehabilitation team develops a comprehensive, individualized care plan to help preserve physical and social independence.
These therapies support the transition from hospitalization to home. Each rehabilitation program is custom tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual with the goal of restoring function and help you reach the highest level of independence.
The role of Physical Therapy is a non-invasive discipline that helps individuals develop, maintain, and restore maximum body movement and physical function. Physical Therapy can help clients recover from an injury, relieve pain, prevent future injury, or deal with a chronic condition.
Occupational Therapy will address strength, coordination, pain management, and activities of daily living to help develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Speech Therapy is the assessment and treatment of speech or language problems. Speech Therapy can also help with swallowing and chewing problems.
The Director of Recreation plans a monthly schedule of activities, programs and special events. Every day we are encouraging residents to reclaim their independence and take advantage of the opportunities that we offer at Ivy Hill.
